Aadarsha Kutumbam, the most-awaited combination of director Trivikram Srinivas and actor Venkatesh, was officially announced for an October 2 release. The team recently unveiled the film’s teaser, which has worked strongly in the film’s favour and pushed expectations higher. However, Track Tollywood has learned that the makers are working in parallel on a possible shift to October 9 or October 15.
Why the Date Is Moving
Two factors are driving the change. Post-production work on the film is still in progress, and pushing the date by a week or two gives the team more room to finish the film without a last-minute crunch. The bigger factor, though, is positioning: October 2 falls well ahead of Dasara, and distributors are pushing for a date closer to the festival, given that Aadarsha Kutumbam is a family entertainer built for exactly that audience.
October 9 Emerging as the Preferred Date
The makers are said to have all but locked October 9 as the new release date. October 16 is already taken by Ranabaali, and Jailer 2 has been announced for October 15, leaving October 9 as the cleanest available slot closer to the festival.
Distributors are understood to be pushing for this date, and the producers are said to be on board. Clarity on the final call is expected within the next few days.
The film’s first single is set to release soon, with promotions expected to pick up pace regardless of which date is finalised.
